As a present to myself two years ago I bought a one of Blackout the drunks Mini H frames. These were the original mini quad frames, built for FPV it is the frame that started the drone racing revolution. With the pace of advancement in miniquads it is clearly very much two year old technology.

This build came about from spare parts, it is heavily compromised but represents a very cheap entry point into FPV mini quads.

I've been very bad at keeping this site up to date recently. As if often the way with blogging, good intentions quickly slip into bad habits and I have got into the habit of not writing about my projects.

After a couple of months of dreaming, planning and waiting for parts to ship from China I have a complete quadcopter! It flies and everything. Its a small Diatone fpv250 minus the fpv (first person view) and was actually very easy to put together. I zip tied it together over a long hot saturday at the London Hackspace and have spent the remaining weeks trying to find time and space to fly.

This like all the best blog posts is named after a spreadsheet. Quadcopter_dreams is a list of parts and prices to build my third Quadcopter.
